Description
This version of the 1950's ACME Full Vision Gas Mask came equipped with a Chin Style 15-M filter canister designated for protection against warfare gases, vapors and smokes. This mask was adopted for use by the U.S. military, but was most likely just a commercially sold mask that could be used with a special canister for warfare agents. Manufactured by Acme Protection Equipment Co. which was a subsidiary of Scott Aviation in South Haven, Michigan.
