This early Chinese mask is likely a predecessor of the Chinese M64 gas mask. The M64 gas mask has a unique combination exhale valve/speech diaphragm assembly which was made of a hard, translucent plastic material. These gas masks each come with a filtering box and haversack. This Chinese gas mask is quite difficult to find, so it also has high collection value!
