Super RARE British Special Forces SOG Avon SF10 Respirator. The SF10 differs from the S10 respirator in that it utilizes plano eyepieces, which can accept easily removed tinted outsert lenses, and can be fitted with an internal microphone in place of the drinking device. It is utilized by British SAS (Special Air Service - a specialist regiment of the British army that is trained in commando techniques of warfare and used in clandestine operations, especially against terrorist groups), LAPD SWAT, and other foreign special forces.
Features
- The SF10 NBC Respirator was the protective gas mask issued to the British Special Forces (SAS) from the 1986 up until the introduction of the FM12 respirator, after which it was withdrawn from service.
- Rare SF10 model differs from the commonly found S10 Avon Respirator that was used by British Armed Forces:
- SF10 has TWO inlet ports (one on each side of the mask), that allows use by left or right handed shooters.
- It doesn't have a drinking attachment found in S10 model.
- Also SF10 has flat lenses, that allows wider angle of vision and use of dark tinted Anti-flash Outsert Lenses.
- Rare SF10 model was only issued to SAS troops and some anti-terrorist units in the UK and around the world: SBS, SO19, GSG9 etc.
- Comes complete with Head harness and Screw-in Plug that covers unused inlet port.
- This mask is in excellent unused (NOS) condition.
- Adjustable, comfortably fits most adult heads.
- Comes with one NBC filter.
- Accepts standard 40mm threaded NBC filters
