New (unissued) surplus respirator set includes a WWII era MK.1 gas mask, Drager filter canister, NATO adapter and a British WWII dated green canvas carry case with adjustable shoulder strap. The British Mk.1 Light Gas Mask was developed to free the masked soldier from the cumbersome breathing hose and large box filter commonly used with most early WWII gas masks. This would be a very nice addition to any collector of World War II Militaria.
