New U.S. Military M40/M50 Drinking Tube Connector (Coupling Half, Quick Disconnect). This is one part of an assembly which allows user to connect the gas mask to an M1 canteen cap for hydration. The quick disconnect coupling half fits into the external drink tube retainer, and attaches to a length of hose.
