Description
100% authentic unissued/unused WWII M1 Gas Mask Waterproofing Kit in canvas bag. Rarely found today, this kit was carried in the gas mask bag and was issued for amphibious operations. The kit originally held square patches and tapes of adhesive plaster and two metal clamps for waterproofing the canister and rubber hose, as well as an instruction sheet. U.S. Military issue.
Features
- The kit is contained in a dark olive drab shade #7 canvas pouch approx. 4" x 4" and marked "Kit, Gas Mask, Waterproofing, M1".
- The pouch contains two clips, a small roll of cellophane (aka "Scotch") tape in a cardboard container for sealing seams and an instruction card sealed in clear plastic (see images below).
