The MP5 is the Polish military's modern NBC respirator. It is very similar in design to the French ARFA respirator which it was derived from under license. This new Maskpol MP5 gas mask comes equipped with a Standard 40mm NBC filter, communication device and drinking tube. Although put into service in the 1990s and still in use today, these MP5 gas masks are very difficult to obtain. This is a VERY nice gas mask kit and of excellent quality - unissued military issue. BASIC PARAMETERS OF THE GAS MASK MP−5 WITH COMBINED FILTER FP−5 · The Gas Mask MP−5 with combined filter FP−5 meets all protective requirements during operation in condition of effect the warfare agents. · The Gas Mask protects the respiratory system against toxic agents in ambient air, radioactive dust and bacterial aerosols. · The Mask is produced in four sizes ensuring tight sealing onto different face shapes (male and female). · The Mask is equipped in voice emitter chamber and drinking device. · The Mask meets requirements of the NATO and EN−136 standards. · The carrying bag is designed for storing and carrying the mask with additional equipment · The mask provide effective protection in range of temperatures from − 40oC up to +50oC – Inhalation resistance in continuous air flow with intensity: 30 dm3/min = 175 Pa 160 dm3/min = 1500 Pa – Exhalation resistance in continuous air flow with intensity: 30 dm3/min = 80 Pa 160 dm3/min = 300 Pa – Weight of complete gas mask (facepiece with combined filter) = 800 g – Flow ability of drinking device = 200 cm3/min.
